Finally, here it is – my first blog post for Frocktober! (Would you believe I’ve had three dresses finished and waiting for posts for about three weeks now?!? Ah well, lack of internet access/time while on holiday will do that. 😉 )
Yep, it’s the Tiramisu, from Cake Patterns.
I made this for my lovely friend-who’s-like-a-sister, Agi, and gave it to her when we were over in Hungary earlier this month visiting her and her family.
It’s made from a mid-weight cotton-synthetic (but mainly cotton) blend tshirting – nice and stable, with a bit of stretch for comfort.
I used my overlocker for the entire thing – four-thread stretch stitch for seams, and cover stitch for stitching the bindings flat. Fast and easy! (I do love my overlocker, yes indeed.)
There’s some more details over here on my blog.
Love the color and the style. Great pictures too.

Thanks! I’m hoping she’ll wear it a lot….. (Always that bit of uncertainty when you make something for someone else….!)
