I must say, when the November challenge was announced, I had no idea what I would make, or if I would be able to finish it during the month. So glad I found the “One Yard Wonders” book! Most of the items in the book are relatively easy to sew; many are great gifts for my nieces and nephews who are having babies this year.
Last night and this afternoon, I decided to make this stroller bag. The book calls for home decor material. Instead I decided to use a yard of flannel that I have had for some time. To give the bag some stiffness and stability, I added batting to the bag between the external material and lining as well as with the pockets and the straps. All in all, I think it turned out pretty good. Hope my niece likes it.
I also made my niece a bunch of burp clothes out of scrap material from some other projects.
Not sure about your niece, but I could certainly be entertained for a while looking at that fabulous fabric. Such a great bag!
