Ok, ok, we realise we should have seen this winner coming a mile away! Make something from an un-used pattern in your stash? Easy!
As far as challenges go, we think this is too simple, so we are throwing down an extra challenge for you!
Introducing:
Miss Bossy Patterns knows that you have more than one new pattern in your stash, uncut with crisp factory folds.
Miss Bossy Patterns thinks you need some help deciding which new pattern to sew.
During the last week of February (or earlier if you want) pick three unused patterns from your stash and post them to your blog.
Once your post is up, you can paste the link in the comments here and on the Facebook page.
If you don’t have a blog (or your blog is “young”) you can post them on our Facebook page.
Miss Bossy Patterns wants your readers to vote for which you should make, and then you sew the winner in March.
🙂
Some extra thoughts:
- Unused pattern do not have to be brand new, but they should be ‘new-to-you’, something you’ve never sewn before
- PDF patterns count too
- Use images and links to the pattern websites to help us vote
- If your pattern is OOP (out of print) or vintage, Miss Bossy Patterns suggests you include a photo of the envelope
- If you are also stash busting, photos of suggested fabrics which each pattern will help your voters too

Great idea! I’m stashbusting, maybe this is that way to use the fabrics I freak out about when I only thing about cutting in them “But maybe one day I’ll get a better idea and I’ll be really sorry that I used this fabric”.
