Oh yes, it’s very, very nearly time for Frocktober!!
So it seems like a good time to show you all a bunch of gorgeous dresses from around the sewing blogging world, which have been made up using the fourth of our Frocktober Featured Dress Patterns – the Reglisse dress from Deer & Doe.
A lot of you told us in your feedback from Indie Pattern Month that you’d like to see French indie pattern label Deer & Doe featured on here. And hey, we’re big fans of their style as well, so we got in touch with them to feature one of their patterns this Frocktober!
With a pussybow neckling, cap sleeve, flared skirt, and elasticated waist, the Reglisse dress is super-sweet, and super easy as well (no fastenings to worry about!).
Heading into autumn and winter and not sure that this pattern will work for you? Tights, knee-high boots, a long-sleeved top underneath, and a cardigan or blazer over the top, and it should see you through nicely! (Can you imagine this made up in a pretty wool blend? Mmmmm…..)
And of course, it makes a pretty awesome spring/summer dress, too. 😉
The Reglisse is going to be our featured dress during the week of 25 October until 1 November. As with the other three featured dresses, we’ll be running a sew-with-us series and holding a sewing contest – make up the Reglisse between the start of September and the end of Reglissee dress week, post about it on The Monthly Stitch during Reglisse week, and you may just win yourself a Deer & Doe pattern of your choice!
