I bet a few of you are hanging out to find out who won the sewing contest for making up the Giselle dress by Kate & Rose!
Such a hard, hard contest, this one, with so many gorgeous entries, all of which were completely different! (I must admit I’m rather glad I didn’t have to choose the winner!)
Kati, the designer behind Kate & Rose, has spent a few days contemplating who should win, and she found it a very hard decision as well. In her own words: “I really had a hard time picking a winner and wish I could make all five entries prizewinners! “
However, a winner there must be, and Kati’s decision is….
“The most creative interpretation is this dress by that black chic, I love the fact that it’s upcycled and that she kept the button placket and some of the seaming from the original denim dress she cut the top out of.”
Congrats! We’re sending you an email now to organise your prize of any two Kate & Rose PDF patterns of your choice. 🙂
A huge thank-you to everyone who entered and made up the Giselle pattern – so many gorgeous dresses! And I know you’ve inspired a few of us to give the pattern a go as well. 🙂
stunning. really love the contrast of colours
