I was supposed to make something with black, so I made my husband some dress pants for work.
I used Burda 6014 to make these. It’s the third pair I’ve made out of this pattern, and I like it. Although, the legs are pretty wide in the original pattern so I tapered them in a bit.
I used some cotton/poly twill for these, and it turned out to be a nice weight for dress pants.
And, I made another solid item, because why not?! I made myself a red top, even though I broke Miss Bossy’s rules to do it 🙂
I used my scoop tee pattern for this top, and I shirred the sides and added a front pocket.
I used a rayon blend jersey from Mood Fabrics for this top.
If you want to read more about the pants you can go here and you can go here to read more about the shirt. Thanks for reading!
Well I think it’s only fair that if Mr gets some pants thanks to Miss Bossy then you definitely get to have a new hot red top as compensation 😉

That’s one lucky guy! I admire anyone who can make great men’s clothes that men really like and wear. Also your red top is super cute!
