For this month’s menswear challenge I made McCalls 6044, a classic button up shirt for my boyfriend. I hardly ever sew anything for him or anyone else for that matter, so this challenge was the perfect impetus to make him something nice. I’ve never made a button up shirt before so I welcomed the challenge. After making a muslin, I cut up a size medium and am so glad the final garment fits properly. Arit was generous enough to be my handsome model for the shirt photoshoot 🙂

Really great – hope he loves it (but not enough to expect you to make them all the time for him! 😜)
