Let the Separates contest begin! (June 8th – 14th)

It’s week two of Indie Pattern Month! 🙂

This weeks competition is Separates.

Curious about the pattern outlines we’ve used in the competition banner? Of course you are!

They are (L to R): Papercut Patterns Clover top, Salme Peplum skirt, Lekala Jacket 4163, Katy & Laney Tap shorts, Closet Case Files Ginger skinny jeans, Fehr Trade VNA top, Sewaholic Crescent skirt, Liola Sparrow top, Muse Melissa skirt, Named Yona wrap coat.

How to enter:

Add your post, showing off the two separates you’ve made using indie patterns between 1 May and now. Your post must go up on The Monthly Stitch between June 8th (00:00 UTC) until June 14th (24:00 UTC).

We’re looking forward to seeing all your fabulous outfit combinations. Remember to tag your posts ‘Indie Pattern Month 2015‘ and ‘Separates (June 8th – 14th) 2015‘ and follow the contest rules to be eligible for some amazing prizes.

The winners:

At the end of the week the four judges will choose 15 entries to go into the final. Their choices are based on four key factors: garment quality, creativity, blog post quality, and photography.

Finalists for the Separates competition will be posted here on the Monthly Stitch on June 17th and the TMS community will vote for their favourites. We’ll announce the winners on June 21sh.

Don’t want to enter the competitions?

Don’t forget, if competitions aren’t your thing, you can still sew from any Indie pattern this month and post on the blog. Just tag your posts with ‘Indie Pattern Month 2015‘ and we’ll still get to see your great Indie pattern makes.

  2. Even though I can’t play along this year, I think this is the week I’m most excited to see! I’m definitely more of a separates than a dress girl at heart.
