Let the New-to-Me contest begin! (June 15th – 21st)

It’s week three of Indie Pattern Month! 🙂

This weeks competition is New-to-Me.

Curious about the pattern outlines we’ve used in the competition banner? Of course you are!

They are (L to R): Christine Haynes Emery dress, Lekala Skirt with Pleats 5182, Gather Buchanan dressing gown, Pauline Alice Quart coat, Papercut Patterns Peter & the Wolf pants, Muse Gillian wrap dress.

How to enter:

Add your post, showing off your new garment that you’ve made using an indie pattern between 1 May and now. Your post must go up on The Monthly Stitch between June 15th (00:00 UTC) until June 21st (24:00 UTC).

We’re looking forward to seeing all your fabulous new-to-you makes. Remember to tag your posts ‘Indie Pattern Month 2015‘ and ‘New-to-Me (June 15th – 21st) 2015‘ and follow the contest rules to be eligible for some amazing prizes.

The winners:

At the end of the week the four judges will choose 15 entries to go into the final. Their choices are based on four key factors: garment quality, creativity, blog post quality, and photography.

Finalists for the New-to-Me competition will be posted here on the Monthly Stitch on June 24th and the TMS community will vote for their favourites. We’ll announce the winners on June 28th.

Don’t forget, if competitions aren’t your thing, you can still sew from any Indie pattern this month and post on the blog. Just tag your posts with ‘Indie Pattern Month 2015‘ and we’ll still get to see your great Indie pattern makes.
