Let the One Pattern Two Takes contest begin! (June 22nd – 28th)

It’s the final week of Indie Pattern Month, awww! 😦

This week we’re going out with a bang, wrapping up with the month with our One Pattern Two Takes competition.

Curious about the pattern outlines we’ve used in the competition banner? Of course you are!

They are (L to R): Sewaholic Davie dress, Pauline Alice Alameda dress/skirt, Named Alexandria peg trousers/shorts, Liola Patterns Luna top, Salme Bib top.

How to enter:

Add your post, showing off the two new garments you’ve made using an indie pattern between 1 May and now. Your post must go up on The Monthly Stitch between June 22nd (00:00 UTC) until June 28th (24:00 UTC).

We’re looking forward to seeing all your fabulous double makes. Remember to tag your posts ‘Indie Pattern Month 2015‘ and ‘One Pattern Two Takes (June 22nd – 28th) 2015‘ and follow the contest rules to be eligible for some amazing prizes. Remember this final competition is special! One Pattern Two Takes is only open to contributors who have posted on The Monthly Stitch prior to June 2015, for a challenge that was not Indie Pattern Month 2014.

The winners:

At the end of the week the four judges will choose 15 entries to go into the final. Their choices are based on four key factors: garment quality, creativity, blog post quality, and photography.

Finalists for the One Pattern Two Takes competition will be posted here on the Monthly Stitch on July 1st and the TMS community will vote for their favourites. We’ll announce the winners on July 5th.

Don’t want to enter the competitions?

Don’t forget, if competitions aren’t your thing, you can still sew from any Indie pattern this month and post on the blog. Just tag your posts with ‘Indie Pattern Month 2015‘ and we’ll still get to see your great Indie pattern makes.

What else is happening this month?
