The August challenge was to make something that involved the number two. I thought why not 2 Bloggers making the same garment, that’s 2 X 2 right? I reached out to Tasha another Monthly Stitch contributor and a fellow blogger over at TheTellTaleTasha. I asked her if she wanted to get together for this challenge and make something. We decided to use McCall’s M6124 [Shirt/Dress pattern with several options, we used view E] we also chose to use African Print fabrics for this challenge. I made the long sleeve version as a jacket without buttons to showcase the dashiki pattern in my fabric. Tasha used the collar on view A and made hers sleeveless. [Her dress does have the buttons down the front but she did wear it unbuttoned for my photographs] Tasha made the trip to Philly for our shoot and we had a great time! Stop over to my BLOG for more on the garment, the photo shoot and the trip!
