Wow, what an absolutely fantastic response we had to the New To Me contest for Indie Pattern Month! 48 gorgeous, creative, impressive garments were stitched up and entered in the contest, from a wide variety of indie labels. We had so much fun reading all the posts, looking at all the images, and getting inspired by all of your creativity. And we had a heck of a hard job narrowing it down to the 14 finalists!
And now, the voting has finished. We’ve counted up the votes and it’s time to answer the big question – who won???
But sadly, much as we’d love to give a prize to everyone, there can be only eight winners. (Although you’re all winners, really, as you all have fabulous new garments to wear and new indie designers you’ve discovered!)
So, here goes……
Minerva Crafts prize
The winner of a prize pack of several lengths of fabric (10 metres in total!) from Minerva Crafts is….
Jamie Christina and By Hand London prize
Maison Fleur, Waffle Patterns and Itch to Stitch prize
Republique du Chiffon and Oki-Style prize
Hot Patterns, Islander Sewing Systems and Cashmerette prize
Greenstyle Creations and Ralph Pink prize
Christine Haynes, Jennifer Lauren Handmade and Muse Patterns prize
Muse Patterns and Sew House Seven prize
Congratulations everyone! We’re sending each of you emails to let you know you’ve won.
We’d also like to give a huge thank-you to the sponsors of the New To Me contest, who have each donated prizes, and without whom we couldn’t do the Indie Pattern Month contests – you’re all amazing!
