Hello! First of all, I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed seeing everyone’s posts for Indie Pattern Month! Despite all of my best-laid plans, I was only able to participate in one challenge, but I’m happy to be back here for this month’s theme!
I’ve been a very bad blogger lately (at last count, I have 12 unblogged items to post), but I knew I had to get this one up so I could participate here. I cut it out quite a while ago, but forced myself to finish this weekend (in the midst of a very serious video game addiction :-/).
The bodice is my tried-and-true Simplicity 4070 with a sweetheart neckline, and the skirt is my tried-and-true circle skirt. Although there are still some minor fitting issues that I could iron out, I’m really pleased with the way this fits under the bust! (You can see it most clearly in the top picture).
As much as I love circle skirts, I think I’m going to have to take a break from them for a while. It’s so much work to even up the hem! As proof, here’s another quick on-theme make: spots and stripes!
As usual, I’m loving all of your makes – keep it up! 🙂
Great fabric, great fit! 🙂

Great work and the fit is excellent. Hopefully without sounding like a purve – your bust looks excellent 😉
