It seems like everyone sewed up the classic style Carolyn pajamas that Closet Case put out and it’s a style I love too.

I chose the Laela Jeyne Comfy Cozy Pjs for it’s classic style and it’s many options at a lower price point. With this pattern I can sew with knits or wovens, I can make long sleeves and long pants for winter, short sleeves and shorts for summer, and I can choose a low or regular rise. Bases covered.

Since I’m all about stashbusting this year and I had over 5 yards of plaid and some matching check print to use up, I decided to go big and make myself a summer and winter set of the Comfy Cozy PJs. I’ve never sewn with plaid so, I was going to be challenging myself there. I thought this was a great idea until about hour three of plaid matching and cutting pattern pieces. Ugh!

I’m very happy with my pattern choice and the two sets of pajamas that are now in rotation.
Thanks for reading about my Last One Standing project today.
You can read my original post and more about what I’m making on the mahlicadesigns blog.
They look like a lovely pair of PJs, just oozing comfort and style in equal measures. 😀
