Announcing the May Challenge and VOTE! for June – “Back by Popular Demand”

Hi Monthly Stitchers,

Sorry for the late May challenge! Due to unforeseen circumstances we also have to announce that Indie Pattern Month will be delayed this year until July but we’re planning to make it just as awesome as previous years 🙂

Now, for the May challenge:

Amazing Aprons!

Nice and simple but very important, we have to protect our precious makes while whipping up a delicious meal or baking a special cake! 🙂

Aprons can be plain and utilitarian or fancy enough to wear outside (almost 😉 ). Made from hard wearing denim or covered in frills! Wear one while cooking, out in the garden, welding in the shed or for carrying your pegs!

You can really have some fun with this one!

For June we thought we’d have some fun to make up for postponing IPM2017 so we’re revisiting Back by Popular Demand which we did for the first time in September 2015.

We put Outerwear up against Vintage Patterns and Denim Never Dies…Vintage Patterns won!

This round we’re pitting the last BBPD winner against two new opponents from the last 45 months (yes, FOURTY FIVE! months):

Ok, let’s vote 🙂

You have 1 week to make your pick, we’ll announce the winner on May 14th and then we’ll sew your favourite favourite 😉

FIGHT! 😉

Other exciting things:

  • April’s challenge Accessorise! with Tools by Hollie! is running until May 14th – don’t forget to enter!
  • Check out last years Indie Pattern Month here.
  • We all love comments! Don’t forget to look back over the recent posts and leave an encouraging comment or start a conversation.
