Announcing the July challenge

You all know this works by now right?

It’s Indie Pattern Month time!

Apart from your editors needing and eency bit more time and breaking our traditional “every June…” speel…we’re ready!

Can you believe this is our fifth Indie Pattern Month? Oh yes!

You would think we’d have it nailed by now but every year there are more amazing sponsors to pick from, more prizes to assign and more of you guys!

But we love it.

If you’re new around here check out last years IPM page here.

We’ll be announcing the four competition themes mid-June. They are based on your feedback and votes so we hope you love them.

I’ll give you a couple of hints: We’ve got an oldie returning that you haven’t seen recently, some favourites and a classic staple.

That’s the full extent of your teaser, stick around for more details 😉

Indie Pattern Month cannot happen without our amazing sponsors. Every year they are super generous and throw their support behind The Monthly Stitch and our wonderful Collective, that’s you guys!

This year we are extra excited to see returning sponsors that for various reasons have taken a break from IPM and we’re always grateful for sponsors that come back year after year. And as always we also have lots of new sponsors to keep things exciting!

Let’s check out who they are:

All these fabulous sponsors have contributed to our amazing prize pool and some of them have also offered discount codes which we will announce closer to July.

As with every year, it you’re not into sewing contests that’s quite ok! Indie Patterns are still the overall July challenge and we’d love you to sew and share your indie pattern projects with us on the blog.

Check back in with us mid-June for more information including the competition themes, discount codes, and the prizes!

Soon we’ll launch the dedicated IPM2017 page to help you keep up with all the details – you’ll find that in the top menu for easy reference.
Feel free to ask any questions below and remember to follow us on Facebook and Instagram for more IPM2016 news.
