Chi Town Chinos for Smarty Pants

Finding my TNT’s has come slowly to me, but one of the first was the Chi Town Chino shorts from Alina Design & Co. As I worked a little bit this summer on filling some wardrobe holes, I turned to this pattern once more.

I made my fourth pair of Chi Towns in a fun and bold red twill, one of my Core Colors. Looking at my selection of shorts, most of which I have to sqeeze into, I can see myself turning to this pattern again and again.

Pattern alterations: I’ve been making a straight size 10 with a slimmed down back thigh. I took out about 1in along the inseam and 1/2in at the outseam of the back piece.
