I’m Shannon, a vintage-loving science student with a passion for sewing and knitting. I’ve been sewing since I was about six years old, but I only ever sewed I sporadically throughout my childhood and early teenage years, usually sewing clothes that I never ended up wearing.
Later in high school, I realized that there is so often a hidden cost to the environment or human rights when we buy cheap, disposable garments, and I picked up sewing and knitting more seriously as an alternative to today’s ‘fast fashion’. On my blog, I share my adventures in building a handmade and ethical wardrobe!
