HI everyone, I’ve just been playing around with the button code, so hopefully it should all work fine now. I don’t have a Blogger blog though, so if one of you lovely Blogger-using ladies could let me know if it works for you, that would be awesome! 🙂
The buttons still need tweaking. It’s tricky, but it can be done. Try them out on your site to see if they work first and then share them with us. Looking forward to sharing it on my WordPress site.
Thanks. It’s strange because I can make them work in a text widget so I have no idea. Kat is going to try and fix them, she’s managed to get them to work before. I never use codes. I usually copy the image URL or save it somewhere an then upload it to an image widget myself.
Thanks Lizzie, Kat is going to try and fix them, she’s managed to get them to work before and for Blogger too. I never use codes. I usually copy the image URL or save it somewhere an then upload it to an image widget myself 😉
I use WordPress and had to make a few tweaks, I also got the click through working too. I think if I paste my code here, it’ll just insert a button so here’s what I did explained in words:
1. Add div in pointy brackets to the front.
2. In the next pair of pointy brackets and after the a, I added title=”The Monthly Stitch” then removed the numbers and symbols from the end of the link but kept the forward slash
3. In the next pair of pointy brackets I moved the alt equals The Monthly Stitch to between img and src
4. Added a /div in pointy brackets to the end
It might not be the slickest way but it works for me.
I’m looking forward to joining in for September!!!

Hi, I’m glad you want to see along with us this month. You should be able to copy and paste whichever code you want into a text widget. I have tested it on my personal blog and it works for me but I’m looking into if I’ve done it right as well, please let me know 🙂
Hi Kat, Yes, the buttons are working. Thanks for fixing them.
