Wow, what an absolutely fantastic response we had to the Dresses contest for Indie Pattern Month! 51 gorgeous, creative, impressive dresses were stitched up and entered in the contest, from a wide variety of indie labels. We had so much fun reading all the posts, looking at all the images, and getting inspired by all of your creativity. And we had a heck of a hard job narrowing it down to the 15 finalists!
And now, the voting has finished. We’ve counted up the votes and it’s time to answer the big question – who won???
But sadly, much as we’d love to give a prize to everyone, there can be only seven winners. (Although you’re all winners, really, as you all have fabulous new dresses to wear!)
So, here goes……
Prize one: the Tia dress craftsy class from Sew Chic, and a Named Clothing PDF pattern of your choice.
The winner of the Sew Chic and Named prize is…. Clarinda! Who made the gorgeous When Frida met Kim dress:
Prize two: two Christine Haynes paper patterns – the Derby and Marianne dresses.
The winner of the Christine Haynes patterns is… Jessie! With her lovely Flora in the Wild dress:
Prize three: a $25 gift voucher for Indiesew.
The winner of the Indiesew gift voucher is… Sarah Kate! With the gorgeous NYC Belladone dress:
Prize four: from Gather Kits, a pack of all three of their paper patterns.
The winner of the Gather patterns is… Gabby! With the stunning 50p Duvet Ruby dress:
Prize five: from Dresses & Me, a mystery pack of patterns, valued at NZD $100.
The winner of the Dresses & Me pattern pack is… Manouela! Who made the wonderful Named Kielo dress:
Prize six: from Minerva Crafts, a mystery pack of fabric, valued at ￡50.
The winner of the Minerva Crafts fabric pack is… Carmen! Who made the pretty floral Peony dress:
Prize seven: a gift voucher for 5 patterns from Lekala.
The winner of the Lekala gift voucher is… Rosemary! With their fabulous Ruby dress:
Congratulations everyone! We’re sending each of you emails to let you know you’ve won.
We’d also like to give a huge thank-you to the sponsors of the Dresses contest, who have each donated prizes, and without whom we couldn’t do the Indie Pattern Month contests – you’re all amazing!
